Co-owners & Licensed Psychological Associates –

Tammy Juntunen, MA, LPA – Tammy is a Licensed Psychological Associate with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from East Carolina University. Tammy worked in a psychiatric hospital for several years prior to entering private practice in 2000. She is certified as a Trauma-Focused CBT therapist through the NC Child Treatment Program (NC CTP). She also has training in child forensic interviewing using the RADAR child forensic interview model. In recent years, Tammy has primarily focused on psychological and developmental evaluations in a private practice setting. She evaluates adults and children for a variety of reasons including but not limited to a suspected learning disability, developmental disabilities, personality, and intellectual functioning. She has experience evaluating children as young as 18 months old to elderly adults but primarily focuses on children and young adults.

Jennifer Call Chang, MA, LPA – Jennifer is a Licensed Psychological Associate with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from East Carolina University. Jennifer provides psychological assessments as well as limited therapy services. She has over 20 years of experience working with and evaluating various mental health concerns over the lifespan. Jennifer has also previously taught college courses at Meredith College, worked in day treatment, worked in the prison system, and provided ABA therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorder. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and the family dogs as well as reading, exercising, traveling, and spending time with extended family and friends.

Counselors

Kathryn Perkinson, MSW, LCSWA – Kathryn is a graduate of Louisburg College and East Carolina University. She is a licensed clinical social worker associate with a Master of Social Work.  Kathryn provides behavioral therapy to children ranging from four to fifteen. While studying at East Carolina, she gained experience by working with child protective services in the investigative unit as well as the school system in Durham, NC. In her free time, Kathryn enjoys fishing, being on the lake, and spending time with family and friends.

Amanda Saeva, MS, CCC-SLP – Amanda is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nazareth College of Rochester, NY. She has work experience in a childcare setting serving children ages birth to 5 years as well as 13 years at Wake County Public School System working with school-aged children. Amanda has experience in the evaluation and treatment of articulation and phonological delays, receptive and expressive language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, and fluency disorders. She has experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, and developmental delays. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her two sons and her husband, reading, exercising, and spending time with friends.  

Marie Cannon, MS, CCC-SLP – Marie is a licensed speech-language pathologist with an undergraduate and graduate degree in speech-language pathology from the University of North Carolina- Greensboro. She also possesses the national accreditation, certificate of clinical competency, from the American Speech and Hearing Association. She has treated clients across the lifespan, from early intervention to school aged, and adults treated in a short-term rehab facility. Along with a wide range of ages comes experience diagnosing and treating a myriad of disorders from apraxia, phonological deficits, fluency, language disorders to dysarthria. Additionally, Marie’s clinical interests include multicultural populations and its influence on communication. She grew up in a bilingual home with an American father and a Filipino mother. Throughout her life, she has visited many different countries and enjoys immersing herself in their language, food and culture. Marie, her husband and daughter are all native North Carolinians. She enjoys trying out different ethnic restaurants and barbecue restaurants across the state, attending church, cooking, gardening, as well as playing with her daughter and pets.

Jonna Mason Hall, MS, CCC-SLP – Jonna is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with an undergraduate and graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from East Carolina University (ECU) in Greenville, NC. She has worked with children and adults in a variety of settings including skilled nursing, acute hospital, and outpatient services. Jonna has experience in the evaluation and treatment of adults with dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, and cognitive deficits. She also has experience in the evaluation and treatment of children with receptive and expressive language delays as well as articulation delays. Jonna has worked with children on the autism spectrum and with those exhibiting other developmental delays. She mentored graduate student interns in Speech-Language Pathology from ECU and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) for 14 years while she worked in skilled nursing. During that time in 2009, she was awarded Clinical Preceptor of the Year from UNC-CH. Jonna enjoys working with children of all ages including middle school youth from her church, where she serves as a youth leader. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, son, and 2 cats as well as her extended family and friends. She enjoys exercising, decorating, listening to music, and being outside!
